What this site collects

This page is a static website. It has no accounts, no sign-up form, no comment box, and no analytics or advertising trackers. It does not set cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local flag remembering that you have already been shown the one-time offer pop-up, so it is not shown again; it lives in your own browser, is never transmitted anywhere, and is cleared whenever you clear your site data.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives the request, including your IP address, as it would for any resource loaded from a third party. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Buying a book

Every purchase button on this site sends you to Gumroad, which is a separate company. All payment and delivery is handled entirely by Gumroad on their own site. Your name, email address and payment details are given to Gumroad, not to us, and are governed by their privacy policy at gumroad.com/privacy. We never see or store your card details. If you buy a book, we receive from Gumroad the order record they provide to sellers, which includes the email address you used, so that we can deliver the file and answer questions about your order.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server request data, such as IP addresses, for delivery and security purposes. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Your rights and how to reach us

Because we hold no data of our own beyond Gumroad’s order records, requests to access, correct or delete purchase data are best made through Gumroad, who hold the record. For anything else, contact us through the store at theancientstore.gumroad.com.
